U Tin Zang Kyaw's Biography

U Tin Zang Kyaw is the President and Founder of Device Consulting Group. He began his career at Pepsi Cola Product Myanmar Ltd (PPML) in 1990 as a Salesman and ascended to the position of General Manager through diligent work.

During his tenure, he pursued Sales and Marketing courses at international universities and colleges and attended specialized courses in management and International Operation Improvement.

In 2005, he established Device Services Co., Ltd., catering to the needs of various companies and business organizations by conducting numerous business management courses. Furthermore, the company has been successful in providing business consulting services to organizations in Myanmar.

In 2016, under U Tin Zang Kyaw’s leadership, Device Business Management Academy collaborated with Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), the primary Corporate University of CPAll Public Co., Ltd., which operates 7-Eleven Convenience Stores in Thailand. Together, they organized a 7-Day RetailPreneur Exclusive Workshop aimed at individuals interested in retail business ventures. This workshop, held in the vibrant Retail City of Bangkok, garnered substantial success. Additionally, an advanced Retail Preneur: A Professional Franchise Business Expansion (7) Days Workshop was also successfully launched to delve deeper into the intricacies of the retail business.

To further enhance Corporate Education, U Tin Zang Kyaw established Maha Thukha Main Company Limited – MTKM Co., Ltd. in 2018. This venture focuses on Executive Education, International Degree Programs, and Digital & Cloud-Based Learning, facilitating international connectivity and implementation.

U Tin Zang Kyaw also serves as a consultant in Myanmar B2B Management Magazine and M9 Group Co., Ltd., which imports and distributes Samsung brand products across Myanmar. Additionally, he holds the position of a business consultant and director at Rakhine Development Corporation Public Company Limited.

Profile of Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet

Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yangon University of Economics in 1965. Subsequently, he pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies at Brighton University, graduating in 1972. He furthered his academic journey by earning a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the University of Warwick in 1973, followed by a PhD in Management Science from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in 1977.

From 1986 to 1988, Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet conducted research as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Marburg, Germany. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Professorship by the University of British Columbia in 2014 and an Honorary Doctorate of Letters (Honoris Causa) by Yangon Business University in May 2015.

Presently, he serves as a visiting professor at Yangon University of Economics and Yangon University. Additionally, he is a member of the governing board of the UNESCO-India Mahatma Gandhi Institute for long-term development and peace education and holds a visiting professorship at Chiang Mai Parath University.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet serves as an advisor to the Federation of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and is a member of the Myanmar Investment Commission.
